beauty in the unexpected
today i wasn't feeling inspired.
so... i went for a run. listened to sonic youth. slept in the grass. put on a dress. but nothing helped.
so I started cleaning out my room and in a dusty yellow box of shit, I found a beautiful piece of black lace.
ahhh inspiration you can be found in the most unexpected places!

Lovely
Today I was really inspired by all things pretty and feminine, which is odd for me, because normally I'm inspired by all things grunge and structural (as seen in yesterday's post). I am loving dreamy, pure and clean aesthetic with that quirky charm.
Today I made some dresses. Afterwards I went to my Grandma's house and looked through all her amazing vintage fabrics, she let me take whatever I liked. Tonight I'm going to my sister's house to have a girl's night...which includes trashy mags, girly movies and healthy food.
Yesterday I worked. Afterwards I went to a vintage market and bought a knitted vest, cardigan and a pair of overalls that I'm gonna re-make. Later when I got home I watched Lords Of Dogtown and Googled Jethro Cave. It was a good day.
Today I went to my friends place and we ate scones in the sun, then we watched F.R.I.E.N.D.S season one.

It has now been 10 days of summer and to celebrate I would like to list my 10 favourite things about summer...
1. Waking up hot and dowy, then eating ice-cream for breakfast
2. Op shopping for polaroid cameras (without luck)
3. Riding my bike
4. Wearing dresses
5. Being so hot you can't move in the day and then dancing with friends (whilst being cooled by fans) at night
7. Reading books under shady trees
8. Finding new music for summer playlists
9. New Years resolutions
10. New adventures

Happy Monday. Here's to the end of the weekend and the begining of a new week. A new week to be inspired, to laugh and to create. This week is my last week of school before holidays! I'm so excited for the new adventures these holidays have to offer :)These two images are my inspirations of the week.
